Kepçe kulak beyaz ırkta %5 olarak görünen doğumsal bir durumdur. Kalıtsal geçişi yüksek bir hastalıktır. Tam olarak bir hastalık sayılmasa da çocukluk çağında psikolojik travma ve duygusal stres bozukluklarına sebep olmaktadır Bu yüzden ilk öğrenime başlamadan düzletilmesinde fayda vardır.

Evet. Ancak bebeğimiz ilk 3 gün içinde başlanan atelleme yöntemleri ile mümkündür. Bunun için geliştirilmiş özel alet ve bantlama usulleri vardır. Cerrahiye gidişi önleyebilir.

Cerrahi Tedavinin Amacı

Kişiyi normal kulak görünümüne kalıcı olarak kavuşturmaktır. Önden ve arkadan bakıldığında doğal bir görünüm elde etmek amaçlanır.

Ameliyat Sonrası Önlemler

Operasyon genel anestezi altında gerçekleşmişse 1 gün hastane yatışı gerekmektedir. Bir ya da 2 gün sonra pansumanlar açılmakta ve tenisçi bandajı denilen bandaj 15-20 gün süreyle kullanılmaktadır. Bir hafta sonra da genel kontrole çağırmaktayız. Kulak arkasına atılan dikişler 15 gün içinde kendiliğinden emilen dikişlerdir.

Postoperative Precautions

If the operation is performed under general anesthesia, hospitalization is required for one day. One or two days later the dressings are opened and the tennis towel bandage is used for 15-20 days. One week later, we call for postoperative control. The sutures will be absorbde in 15 days spontaneously.
